Honeywell PROSIXCMBOV ProSeries Two-Way Wireless Smoke/Heat and CO Detector
The PROSiXCMBOV is a two-way, professionally monitored, wireless, combination smoke/heat and carbon monoxide (CO) detector. More advanced than a standard battery-operated smoke detector, it provides true multi-threat detection and can react faster to real danger. Works with the PROA7PLUS control panel.
Reduce your risk of home fires with the PROSiXCMBOV Two-Way Wireless Smoke/Heat/CO Detector. With the “One-Go-All-Go” feature, if one sensor detects smoke, heat or carbon monoxide, and begins to sound, all sensors in the system will sound.
The PROSiXCMBOV detector also gives audible instructions that can support multiple languages. A prominent, 360° viewable LED shows visual alerts. Multi-color LEDs intuitively indicate alarm and CO conditions. Sophisticated and trusted algorithms interpret and respond to conditions – cutting down on false alarms.

WARNING
Non-working smoke detectors are the cause for over 60% of deaths in residential house fires. Here's how to be sure your smoke detectors are always ready:
There is plenty of proof that smoke detectors save lives every day. It is also well documented that missing and non-working smoke detectors are the cause for over 60% of deaths in residential house fires. That means if your smoke detectors are not working properly when you have a fire, your odds are that you and your loved ones won't make it out alive.

It’s easy to think that the detectors on your ceiling will always be there for you. But without regular inspection, cleaning and maintenance your smoke detectors will fail. And detectors that are older than 10 years must be replaced. There is no better value than a small investment in these life-saving devices in your home.

Here is how you can make sure your smoke detectors are always ready to protect you and your family in case of a fire:

-
Clean or have your smoke detectors cleaned at least once every two years.
The air movement in your home allows dust particles to settle in your smoke detectors. Enough accumulation will affect the sensitivity. Vacuuming and blowing compressed air into the detectors will help remove that accumulated dust and debris.
If you are not comfortable with doing this on your own, contact us and we will schedule a cleaning and maintenance on each of them to ensure they are in working order.
-
Replace your smoke detectors at least every 10 years.
According to the National Fire Prevention Association, a ten-year old smoke detector has a 1 in 3 chance of NOT detecting smoke. If your detectors are older than 10 years, call us immediately to schedule an appointment for replacement.

-
Make sure your smoke detectors are connected to our central station.
Standalone smoke detectors won't help you if nobody is in your home at the time to hear them or if someone alone in your home is hearing impaired by headphones, competing loud noises, or significant hearing loss.
Our smoke detectors are connected to your security system and a monitoring station, which will be immediately contacted and the fire department notified. If your detectors are not monitored or you are not sure, then contact us.
-
Make sure you have enough coverage in your home.
Today’s fire code for smoke detectors requires at least one smoke detector on every level of your home and in every bedroom in your home. A smoke detector is also required in hallways within 15 feet of a bedroom door. That is just the minimum requirement. If your home is large, it is suggested that you consider even more coverage for property protection and life safety.
