For decades, Suffolk Security Systems has been dedicated to keeping our East End community safe. But our mission goes beyond alarms and monitoring systems; it’s about nurturing a strong, healthy, and supportive environment for everyone who lives on the East End.
As we approach the end of the year, we take a moment to reflect on the organizations that form the backbone of our local safety net. We proudly support these groups annually and invite our community members to learn more about the vital work they do. This year, we are shining a spotlight on three exceptional non-profits that are making a real difference right here in our backyard and beyond.
Featured Community Partners
Eastern Long Island Hospital Foundation
As a director of this organization, I believe that ensuring access to quality local healthcare is fundamental to a secure community. The ELIH Foundation raises essential funds to support Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport. Their work ensures that our local hospital is equipped to provide the immediate and ongoing medical care our residents need, keeping services close to home.
CAST (Center for Advocacy, Support, and Transformation) in Southold
CAST has been a cornerstone of support for the North Fork community since 1965. They provide critical assistance to low-income individuals and families when they need it most. Their services include a robust food pantry, emergency financial assistance for things like rent and utilities, and various educational programs designed to help neighbors thrive. I am proud that Suffolk Security Systems is a donor to CAST.
The Kimberly Coffey Foundation
I think it's important to highlight the critical mission of The Kimberly Coffey Foundation. This organization is dedicated to preventing deadly bacterial meningitis (meningococcal disease) through awareness and education initiatives. Kimberly Coffey tragically passed away just before her high school graduation from the disease. Her mother, Patti Wukovits and the foundation work tirelessly to ensure families and healthcare providers understand the importance of vaccination to protect young people from this preventable tragedy.
How You Can Help
Suffolk Security Systems is committed to making yearly contributions to these causes. We encourage our customers and fellow community members to support them as well.
If you are moved by their missions, please consider making a direct donation. Your contribution is tax-deductible and goes directly to helping our neighbors.
Please note: Suffolk Security Systems does not process or accept donations on behalf of these organizations. All contributions must be made directly to the charity of your choice via their respective websites linked above.
Thank you for helping us make the East End of Long Island a safer and stronger place to live. We wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday season.
