I'm honored to be named the 2021 Suffolk Times Businessperson of the Year

Updated: Dec 28, 2022

You may have learned that the Suffolk Times recently awarded me as their 2021 Businessperson of the Year. With so many hard-working business owners and employees to select on the East End, I was surprised and humbled with this tribute.

Being honored through such trying times was particularly moving for me. But it is an award that I must share with so many. First, my dedicated employees at Suffolk Security Systems: through thick and thin they are out there every day keeping your home or business safe with our products and services and navigating our new “masked/unmasked” environment.

But YOU are equally important to our success and our ability to serve. Great clients make us want to work harder and do more. And we will continue to do more because you motivate us to improve ourselves.

The past few years through COVID have been extremely challenging for anyone in business. We all do our best to keep our employees and customers safe, maintain adequate staffing, and obtain inventory through new and unpredictable supply chains.

Part of my business goals has always been to be engaged with the communities in which we work. And I assure you that we will continue along that path. As a volunteer director on the board of Eastern Long Island Hospital Foundation, I am proud that clients like yourself have been so generous in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for our community hospital and our COVID Action Fund.

Of course, within our communities, there is always more to do. You have my promise that I will continue to remain involved with organizations in the areas we serve. And if you are considering ways to support healthcare at Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital, then click the button below to learn the variety of ways you can donate.

Thank you for allowing me to continue to serve you and our community.

Best,

Paul
